The Original Zombie Experience

"The Original Zombie Experience" is a program fundraiser for Theatre at The Ridge's theatre season. The student senior directing class is in charge of producing and directing their own area and forming a cohesive story. For two nights in October Cedar Ridge High School is converted into a "safe zone" to escape from the zombie outbreak in the form of an interactive haunted house. As a technical director for the 2021 production Raeya was responsible for creating and designing an area of the haunted house, as well as delegating tasks to technicians working in that specific area. As a stage manager, she was responsible for creating paperwork to track technical needs for each individual area of the haunted house, as well as managing around a total of 100 actors and 75 technicians. In total, the event raised around $35,000 for the department and the mainstage production of Footloose the Musical.
